After the Aces 'humbled' the Fever, Indiana's season is on the line against a reigning WNBA champion in its element

The Las Vegas Aces opened their postseason run with a dominant 102-85 victory over the Indiana Fever in Game 1 of their playoff series. A'ja Wilson led the charge by matching her playoff career high with 38 points and grabbing 16 rebounds alongside four blocks and two steals, shooting an exceptionally efficient 15-19 from the field.

Jackie Young contributed 21 points and 10 assists, while Chelsea Gray added 14 points and 8 assists to support the defending champions.

Head coach Becky Hammon praised her veteran squad's poise under postseason pressure as they took a 1-0 series lead. The Fever struggled to match that urgency and discipline during the lopsided opener, leaving their season on the line heading into Game 2.

That upcoming matchup is scheduled to take place on Tuesday in Indianapolis.
