ACB chief hails ILT20 management after 25 Afghan players earn contracts

Naseeb Khan Zadran, head of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, recently expressed high praise for the leadership of the ILT20 after twenty-five cricketers from his country secured franchise deals for the upcoming fifth season. This development stems from a collaborative arrangement involving the Emirates Cricket Board, requiring every participating squad to feature at least four Afghan talents and every matchday starting eleven to include a minimum of two.

Highlighting specific key figures, Zadran acknowledged the contributions of Khalid Al Zarooni and Mubashshir Usmani in executing the strategic alliance. Furthermore, standout athletes Fazalhaq Farooqi and Rahmanullah Gurbaz attracted substantial competitive bids, drawing record-breaking financial returns through the tournament auction.
