Aakash Chopra hails Shivam Dube, reveals why he is crucial to India’s T20I setup

Former national team opening batsman Aakash Chopra has publicly backed all-rounder Shivam Dube, arguing that the big-hitting left-hander deserves significantly more appreciation for his contributions to the squad. According to Chopra, Dube's ability to dismantle opposing spin bowlers and provide crucial depth to the batting lineup makes him an indispensable tactical asset.

The versatile cricketer recently delivered a strong performance during the men's cricket tournament at the Asian Games in Japan, contributing both with the bat and the ball in the championship fixture against Pakistan. Dube is anticipated to maintain his spot in the starting lineup as the team prepares to begin a five-match Twenty20 International series against the West Indies.
