Mike Evans will suit up for the 49ers this Sunday against the Seahawks, despite lingering rib issues that have limited his recent practice participation. The veteran wide receiver sat out Thursday’s session entirely and remained restricted on Wednesday, but his absence in Week 4 did not stem from the same injury.
While Evans’ availability is confirmed, the 49ers have ruled out several key players, including defensive end Nick Bosa (knee/calf) and fullback Kyle Juszczyk (knee), along with safety Marques Sigle (ankle) and defensive tackle James Thompson (ankle). Cornerback Upton Stout (shoulder) and defensive end Mykel Williams (knee) remain questionable, with Williams potentially making his 2026 debut after recovering from an ACL tear that ended his 2025 season.
His activation from reserve/PUP before Sunday’s game is expected, adding another layer of uncertainty to the 49ers’ defensive lineup.
