49ers rule WR Mike Evans out vs Cardinals with rib injury; Trent Williams leaves game on a cart

San Francisco suffered another major setback during their matchup against Arizona on Sunday as wide receiver Mike Evans exited the field in the first half due to a rib problem and failed to return. Later in the contest, veteran offensive lineman Trent Williams also departed via cart in the third quarter after sustaining a stinger.

The latest injuries compound a mounting personnel crisis for the San Francisco passing offense, which was already missing several key targets including Ricky Pearsall, De'Zhaun Stribling, Demarcus Robinson, and Christian Kirk. With multiple regular contributors sidelined, the team must lean more heavily on remaining options like Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Christian McCaffrey.
