
The National Football League handed down a six-game ban and a half-million-dollar penalty to franchise owner Jed York following his no-contest plea to a pair of misdemeanor counts in Ohio last month. Having already sat out three fixtures while missing league gatherings, the executive will be eligible to rejoin the organization in mid-October before taking in a late-season matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
