49ers get rare bit of good injury news on Mike Evans, Trent Williams

San Francisco received a welcome boost regarding several players who exited their recent matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Kyle Shanahan shared that Mike Evans, Trent Williams, and Dre Greenlaw avoided major injuries and could return soon, with Williams possibly ready by Thursday.

Evans dealt with a midsection issue identified as a rib problem, while Williams sustained a neck stinger and Greenlaw picked up a quad contusion. All three will require careful management during upcoming practices.

In addition, the organization added veteran defensive end Matthew Judon to the practice squad and anticipates practice returns this week for Romello Height and Mykel Williams.
