10 thoughts on the Cowboys loss to the Buccaneers

The Dallas Cowboys suffered a frustrating 24-16 defeat against the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers during Thursday night's primetime matchup. Despite an initial 70-yard scoring drive to open the contest, Dallas struggled as Tampa Bay controlled the clock and capitalized on defensive lapses and turnovers, including a deflected pass and a muffed kickoff return by KaVontae Turpin.

Although rookie Malachi Lawrence provided a spark with a sack and a deflection, the Cowboys' defense repeatedly failed to get off the field on third-down conversions, ultimately allowing the Buccaneers to secure a road victory.
