‘Zaheer Khan is the Sachin Tendulkar of bowling’: MS Dhoni's old faith echoes through CSK's new era

Chennai Super Kings has named Zaheer Khan as its head coach starting for the Indian Premier League in 2027, taking over the position held by Stephen Fleming since 2009. The recruitment was guided by MS Dhoni, who previously relied on the fast bowler during their international playing careers, most notably comparing him to Sachin Tendulkar during a challenging World T20 tournament in September 2012.
