‘We have written to BCCI’: DDCA springs into action after ‘match-fixing’ allegations rock Indian cricket

The Delhi and District Cricket Association has officially reached out to the Board of Control for Cricket in India following recent integrity concerns. DDCA secretary Ashok Sharma stated that the association is fully cooperating and prepared to hand over all available video footage or requested materials.

The controversy stems from a sting operation featuring former Ranji participant Rachit Bhatia, who made unverified assertions concerning match manipulation during the Delhi Premier League and other domestic tournaments.

Ashok emphasized that safeguarding the tournament is vital to protect the futures of participating youth and maintain organizational credibility. While the DDCA official dismissed the validity of the statements captured on camera, he noted that formal verification would require investigative authorities.

The organization also highlighted its heavy financial investment in specialized anti-corruption measures during the third edition of the competition.
