‘Total Destruction,’ ‘Reverse Psychology Is a Beautiful Drug’ — Heisman Winner, CFB World Erupt As Missouri Torches Florida 45–17

Eli Drinkwitz and his Missouri squad delivered a stunning 45-17 upset against eighth-ranked Florida, completely reversing expectations after opening the contest as underdogs. Quarterback Austin Simmons spearheaded the dominant effort by throwing for 340 yards and a pair of touchdowns during a massive 35-point scoring run that put the game firmly out of reach.

The victory propelled Missouri to a 4-1 record and marked the program's first triumph over an opponent in the top ten of the AP poll since 2013.
