Following the retirement of pace bowler Mark Wood, a review of his career highlights recalls several of his quickest spells. After altering his approach by extending his run-up based on guidance from Michael Holding, Wood claimed five wickets for 41 runs during a Test match in Saint Lucia in 2019, achieving career-best match figures of nine for 100 against South Africa in Johannesburg the following year.
