Following a high scoring opening weekend across the league, the second slate of games brought a dramatic drop in offensive production. The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a dismal twenty to three defeat on the road against the New England Patriots.

Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers struggled mightily, completing twenty-three of thirty-nine attempts for one hundred eighty-seven yards, one interception, and two fumbles. The Steelers managed just two conversions on twelve third down tries and accumulated a meager two hundred thirty-five total yards.

On the opposing side, Drake Maye threw for two hundred eight yards and an interception for New England as both offenses sputtered throughout the contest.
