'Prepared to play, hope they'll get their opportunities' - Coach Sairaj Bahutule on Kuldeep, Chakaravarthy after non-selection in 4th T20I

New Zealand secured an 87-run victory over India at Eden Park on October 30, 2026, during the fourth T20I of their five-match series. Despite the hosts posting a total of 259 for 7 and limiting India to 172 for 9, the visitors maintain a 3-1 lead in the series.

Spin-bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule addressed the absence of Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy from the playing XI, noting that both remain prepared for future selection. Bahutule expressed optimism that the duo will receive opportunities during the upcoming final T20I and the subsequent five-match ODI series.
