'O'Neill unaware of trialist goalkeeper Inzalaco' - gossip

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has addressed recent transfer speculation by stating he was unaware that 19-year-old Australian youth international Sonny Inzalaco, a goalkeeper from Perth RedStar, had been training at Lennoxtown. Inzalaco has also drawn interest from Wrexham and previously spent time on trial with Blackburn Rovers during the summer months.

O'Neill similarly dismissed reports regarding 32-year-old free agent midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, noting he did not know the former France player had been working out with the Scottish champions and confirming no additions will be made before January. Meanwhile, representatives for Fares Ghedjemis confirmed that both Celtic and Rangers attempted to secure the 24-year-old Frosinone winger prior to his recent contract extension, while the SPFL expressed a desire to bring away supporters back to Old Firm fixtures.
