'Incredible achievement for the family' as Bellingham brothers called up

Thomas Tuchel has selected Jobe Bellingham for the senior England squad alongside his older brother Jude, describing the simultaneous inclusion as a wonderful narrative. Jobe has followed a developmental path similar to Jude by progressing through the Birmingham City academy before moving to the Bundesliga, though the younger midfielder wears his own given name on his kit rather than the family surname.

Tuchel noted that the siblings share a close bond, which should ease Jobe's transition into the senior camp, though he emphasized that the selection is entirely merited based on strong performances and leadership as captain of the Under-21 side. The upcoming international window features a home fixture against Croatia followed by an away match facing Spain.
