Bengals' Joe Flacco sets record straight on trade rumors to Giants after Jaxson Dart injury

Following a knee injury to Jaxson Dart, speculation mounted regarding Joe Flacco and a potential trade from the Cincinnati Bengals to the New York Giants. Flacco dismissed the rumors as false while noting that the reports prompted messages from amused acquaintances.

After taking over the starting role, Jameis Winston struggled during a 28-6 defeat against the Los Angeles Rams, completing 11 of 27 passes for 111 yards and an interception. Despite quarterback health concerns across the league following Week 3 injuries, the Bengals intend to retain Flacco as a dependable backup option behind Joe Burrow under his one-year agreement containing nine million dollars in total incentives.
