(9-26-26) Blues-Blackhawks Preseason Gameday Lineup

The St. Louis Blues conclude their preseason schedule on Saturday evening against the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center, wrapping up a home-and-home set following a tight victory earlier in the week.

Head coach Jim Montgomery praised his squad's physical engagement and overall connectivity after a low-scoring win powered by Calle Rosen and a standout defensive performance in net. With regular-season opening night approaching next month, St.

Louis traveled early to get accustomed to travel logistics and deploy a lineup featuring several projected starters. Under new collective bargaining agreement restrictions regarding veteran preseason appearances, certain players like Jordan Binnington, Ross Johnston, and Dillon Dube are ineligible to suit up.

Consequently, Zach Dean steps into a fourth-line role as he secures an opening-night roster spot alongside other positional battles.
