Zimbabwe’s women’s cricket team has named a 15-player squad for their upcoming white-ball series against India, featuring a mix of experienced campaigners and rising talents. The side, led by captain Josephine Nkomo, includes key performers from their recent ICC Championship victory over the West Indies, such as fast bowler Nyasha Gwanzura, whose career-best figures of four wickets for 33 were pivotal in that win.
The batting lineup will be anchored by Modester Mupachikwa, Sharne Mayers, and Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano, while Nkomo and Nomvelo Sibanda add depth with their international experience. The series kicks off with three T20 Internationals in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, followed by three One Day Internationals at the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium in Vadodara, beginning on October 16 and concluding on October 28.
