Wrexham had to block outside noise - Parkinson

Wrexham secured a commanding 4-1 victory over Championship strugglers in a match that highlighted their resilience and tactical adjustments. Joe Worrall and Ben Whiteman opened the scoring early, giving Wrexham a 2-1 half-time lead, before Sam Smith and Kieffer Moore sealed the win in the second half.

Manager Ryan Parkinson emphasized the team’s determination, calling the win a step forward after a challenging start to the season marked by injuries to key players like Max Cleworth, Nathan Broadhead, and Dan Sheaf. Despite the setbacks, Parkinson expressed confidence in the squad’s potential, noting that the returning players would add depth and competition for places as the campaign progresses.
