Why Mercedes’ huge Baku practice advantage may not be the real picture

During Thursday practice runs at the Baku City Circuit, George Russell set the pace by leading both sessions for Mercedes. Max Verstappen finished as the closest competitor outside of Mercedes, yet trailed the top time by nearly a full second at eight hundred twenty-seven milliseconds behind.

Mercedes is also planning to bring an anticipated update bundle for the W17 vehicle to Malaysia.
