Wales manager Craig Bellamy recently recalled an extraordinary encounter he witnessed at a Lisbon terminal during a pre-season journey while serving as Vincent Kompany's assistant at Burnley. The entire facility was placed under a massive lockdown by law enforcement, leaving his squad stranded on their vehicle until Cristiano Ronaldo emerged to handle his luggage and walk through security surrounded by armed officers.
