What to know about Akron at Central Michigan college football game

Akron prepares to hit the road for a Mid-American Conference matchup against Central Michigan this Saturday afternoon. The Zips enter the contest with a one-win, four-loss record following a lopsided defeat against UNLV, while the Chippewas hold a two-win, two-losses standing after falling to Miami last week.

Quarterback Brayden Roggow is expected to retain his spot under center for Akron after stepping into the role due to Cibastian Broughton sustaining a lower-body injury earlier in the month. Head coach Joe Moorhead's squad will look to clean up execution errors and turnovers that plagued their previous outings as they travel to face Central Michigan.
