Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese delivered a dominant performance in Game 2 of the 2026 WNBA Finals, scoring 30 points on 10‑of‑16 shooting, pulling down 16 rebounds and adding two blocks in a 79‑65 victory over the Golden State Valkyries. Early in the second quarter, Reese was fouled by Valkyries center Aminata Gueye, and the two exchanged heated words before Reese responded with an emphatic block on Gueye’s next shot attempt.
The win tied the series at one game apiece and gave the Dream a chance to seize home‑court advantage in the upcoming Games 3 and 4, which are slated for State Farm Arena. Gueye, a rookie who logged only a single minute in the game, recorded one rebound before the block, while Reese continued to lead the series with averages of 22 points and 14 rebounds over the two contests.
