Week 7 waiver wire - five names worth your FAAB

As Week 7 of the 2026 fantasy football season unfolds, Yahoo Sports’ Josh and Joel Smyth have pinpointed five standout waiver-wire targets to bolster your squad. Omar Cooper Jr.

of the New York Jets has emerged as a breakout candidate after a strong start, while Jaylin Noel and Tre Tucker are also highlighted for their potential upside. The duo’s analysis extends to deeper cuts like Ja'Kobi Lane and Demario 'Pop' Douglas, who could provide unexpected value in tight matchups.

Beyond individual players, the breakdown covers key positional stashes—including the Arizona Cardinals’ running back group and the New England Patriots’ backfield—alongside quarterback options for superflex formats. With rosters tightening, these names could be the difference between a winning week and a bench-warmer’s fate.
