Wales lose injured Powell for entire WXV campaign

Wales will compete in the WXV tournament without the injured Powell after the national squad was confirmed. The selected forward group features Gwenllian Pyrs, Maisie Davies, Katherine Baverstock, Crystal James, Shanelle Williams, Molly Reardon, Kelsey Jones, Elan Jones, Stella Orrin, Sisilia Tuipulotu, Gwen Crabb, Natalia John, Branwen Metcalfe, Georgia Evans, Alex Callender, Bryonie King, Bethan Lewis, Alisha Joyce, Kate Williams, and Jorja Aiono.

Handling backline duties for the campaign are Keira Bevan, Seren Lockwood, Megan Davey, Lleucu George, Courtney Keight, Freya Bell, Jenna De Vera, Hannah Dallavalle, Hanna Tudor, Nikita Prothero, Jasmine Joyce, Amy Williams, Kelsie Webster, Lisa Neumann, Carys Cox, Nel Metcalfe, and Seren Singleton.
