Tom Brady weirdly had it out for Sam Darnold during 49ers-Seahawks

During the San Francisco 49ers' 32-29 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, broadcaster Tom Brady drew attention for his harsh assessment of Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold. After a late hit by Dre Greenlaw sent Darnold toward the Seattle sideline, Brady defended the linebacker and accused the quarterback of exaggerating the contact.

Greenlaw was subsequently ejected for head-butting Ernest Jones IV following the incident. Darnold finished the contest with 195 passing yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions while absorbing five sacks.

Reports suggest Brady previously opposed the idea of the Raiders acquiring Darnold, potentially stemming from their past matchups when the quarterback struggled against Brady's teams.
