Three Reasons Why Iowa Football Will Beat Ohio State - And Three Reasons It Won't

Ahead of the upcoming weekend clash, offensive lineman Trevor Lauck broke down the pivotal matchup between fourteenth-ranked Iowa and fifth-ranked Ohio State. The Hawkeyes enter the contest as heavy underdogs looking to secure their inaugural bid to the College Football Playoff.

To pull off the upset, Iowa will need an explosive start fueled by the home crowd at Kinnick Stadium and must take advantage of an opposing rush defense that recently surrendered 199 yards to Illinois. Defensively, the Hawkeyes hope to pressure quarterback Julian Sayin into mistakes while limiting the impact of star target Jeremiah Smith under coordinator Phil Parker's scheme.
