The Breakdown | ‘Freer’ Red Roses resolve to come back stronger after Canada end epic run

England's streak of 41 matches without a loss has concluded following a defeat to Canada. This result marks the first time the Red Roses have fallen in four years, ending a dominant period that saw them win 40 times and draw once across 73 outings.

Head coach John Mitchell experienced his first loss in the role, noting that his squad typically accelerates its development following such obstacles. The two teams are scheduled to face each other again this coming weekend.

This outcome serves as a significant milestone for the Canadian side as they look to build on their recent success.
