The Bears acted like a Super Bowl contender with the Jeffery Simmons trade. It’s about time

The Chicago Bears made a bold splash by acquiring star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans in a blockbuster deal. Media reaction has been mixed, with outlets like The Athletic and ESPN handing out low marks to Chicago while showering Tennessee with high grades for securing a pair of first-round draft picks and additional draft compensation.

Proponents of the move argue that aggressive moves are essential for championship contention, comparing the situation to previous major trades involving stars like Karl-Anthony Towns and Khalil Mack.
