Texas tight end Nick Townsend (#81) has been cleared to return after missing the past two games due to a knee injury suffered against Ohio State. The sophomore, who had been listed as probable on earlier reports, is now marked as available and is expected to play in Saturday’s Red River Rivalry against Oklahoma in Dallas.
Townsend’s return adds depth to Texas’s offensive line-up as the Longhorns prepare for a high-stakes SEC showdown.
Other notable updates include defensive lineman Justus Terry, who moved from doubtful to questionable after dealing with a toe injury since the Ohio State game. Meanwhile, wide receiver Kaliq Lockett was downgraded to out, joining offensive lineman Jordan Coleman and defensive tackle Zion Williams, who remain sidelined.
Oklahoma’s offensive line also faces challenges, with left tackle Michael Fasusi listed as doubtful and Fred Hinton ruled out for the game.
