Ten-man Spurs claim dramatic draw at Man Utd as Solanke rescues point

Tottenham Hotspur defied the odds to secure a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Manchester United in a Premier League clash played with 10 men for much of the second half. The late equalizer from Dominic Solanke in stoppage time salvaged a point for Roberto De Zerbi’s side, who had been trailing since Bryan Mbeumo’s 73rd-minute goal—a strike set up by a well-timed through-ball from Matheus Cunha.

Spurs’ resilience was tested further by a red card for Rodrigo Bentancur after a reckless headbutt motion toward Luke Shaw, deepening their struggles in the relegation zone as they remain winless in the league since May. United, meanwhile, continue their dismal campaign, now mired in their worst start to a season in four decades, despite taking the lead through Mbeumo’s clinical finish past Antonin Kinsky.

The result leaves both managers with pressing questions as their teams remain stuck in a cycle of inconsistency and poor form.
