Stuart Broad, Jos Buttler name Top 10 Test bowlers of this century, Jasprit Bumrah beats several legends

Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad and current England star Jos Buttler have curated a list of the top 10 Test bowlers of the 21st century, spotlighting both modern pace threats and legendary spinners. Their selections, discussed on the *For The Love of Cricket* podcast, highlight bowlers whose skills have dominated the longest format of the game.

The list is led by the late Australian legend Shane Warne, followed by England’s James Anderson and India’s Jasprit Bumrah in the top three. Bumrah, known for his ability to trouble batters with pace and variations, stands out as the only active player in the top three, while Mitchell Starc rounds out the top 10 with his left-arm pace and lethal yorkers.

The duo also praised South Africa’s Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada for their pace and reverse swing, while Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan secured sixth place with his unmatched spin bowling and 800 Test wickets. Australia’s Pat Cummins earned fifth spot for his pace, bounce, and consistency, while South Africa’s Shaun Pollock was recognized for his accuracy and ability to exploit batting weaknesses over long periods.
