Spurs beat Coventry to claim first win as Kulusevski makes long-awaited return

Tottenham Hotspur secured their inaugural Premier League victory of the 2026/27 campaign by defeating Coventry 3-1. James Maddison opened the scoring against his former club, while Omar Marmoush netted his first goal for the team to regain the lead following Jack Rudoni's equalizer.

Ben Davies added a late goal to seal the win, which moves Tottenham to six points and 16th place in the standings.

The match also marked a significant milestone as Dejan Kulusevski stepped onto the pitch for the first time in 526 days following a lengthy injury absence. Tottenham now prepares for an upcoming London derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
