South Africa vs Australia Test series all you need to know – schedule, squads, live-streaming info

South Africa and Australia are set to clash in a high-stakes three-match Test series beginning October 9, with the World Test Championship title hanging in the balance. The Proteas will look to defend their 2023 final victory at Lord’s, while Australia returns to South African soil for the first time since the infamous 2018 ball-tampering scandal, which led to suspensions for Steve Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft.

The series kicks off at the Kingsmead Stadium in Durban, with the remaining matches scheduled for Gqeberha and Cape Town. Both teams have announced their squads, featuring key players like Pat Cummins and Kagiso Rabada, who will battle for dominance in a fiercely contested championship decider.

The series carries significant historical weight, as it marks the first Test series between the two nations since the controversial incident that rocked cricket’s integrity. With World Test Championship points on the line, every wicket and run will be crucial as the teams vie for supremacy.

Fans can catch all the action live on FanCode, with play commencing at 1:00 PM IST for each Test.
