Sean McVay should never give up playcalling

Sean McVay continues to handle playcalling for the Los Angeles Rams, a decision that stands in contrast to recent moves by other NFL head coaches. Both Sean Payton of the Denver Broncos and DeMeco Ryans of the Houston Texans have recently reclaimed playcalling responsibilities from their coordinators following early-season struggles.

Payton took over the Broncos' offense from Davis Webb after a 2-2 start, while Ryans resumed defensive duties from Matt Burke after the Texans failed to win any of their first four games. The Rams' recent 24-20 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles serves as a reminder of the value McVay provides by maintaining direct control over his team's offensive strategy.
