
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold has returned to practice as he works to recover from a glute injury suffered during the opening series of the season against New England. Although the initial recovery timeline spanned roughly four weeks, Darnold is attempting to beat that schedule and hopes to play in the upcoming matchup against the Washington Commanders.
Head coach Mike Macdonald noted that the quarterback will be ramped up gradually throughout the week as the team evaluates his readiness to take the field.
