The Seattle Seahawks' offense will operate without wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba for at least part of the week after he aggravated an ankle issue during Sunday’s 24–21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Smith-Njigba, who tallied five receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown in the game, left the field in the second half with visible discomfort and was later listed as a limited participant in Monday’s practice.
His injury comes as the Seahawks prepare for Thursday’s matchup against the Denver Broncos, where his absence could impact Seattle’s passing game downfield. Alongside Smith-Njigba, running back Zach Charbonnet (knee), quarterback Drew Lock (right forearm), guard Beau Stephens (shoulder), and defensive tackle Leonard Williams (ankle) were also noted as limited participants, while linebackers Chazz Surratt (calf) and Drake Thomas (ankle) missed practice entirely.
The team’s depth will be tested further with wide receiver Irv Charles (knee) and running back George Holani (ribs, knee) both listed as full participants, though their availability remains uncertain for the coming week.
