Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald expressed optimism regarding defensive tackle Leonard Williams, who practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday despite an ankle injury sustained late in the previous game. While Macdonald indicated the team is hopeful for Williams' availability, running back Zach Charbonnet, who is returning from the PUP list with a knee issue, will receive team reps this week but is confirmed to sit out the upcoming contest.
Wide receiver Irv Charles, recently designated to return to practice from injured reserve with a knee injury, also participated in a limited fashion and faces a 21-day window to prove his readiness for activation. Other Seahawks players who practiced with limitations included right guard Beau Stephens, cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett, linebacker Tyrice Knight, and running back George Holani, while linebacker Chazz Surratt did not practice due to a calf problem.
Ty Okada and Patrick O'Connell were full participants, whereas Jaxon Smith-Njigba missed the session for veteran rest.
On the San Francisco 49ers side, edge rusher Nick Bosa and fullback Kyle Juszczyk did not practice due to injuries, though neither is expected to play against Seattle. The 49ers also had safety Marques Sigle, cornerback Upton Stout, and defensive tackle James Thompson sit out practice with ankle and shoulder issues, respectively.
