A historic Scottish links golf course is on the market for just under $2 million, offering a rare chance to own a piece of the country’s storied golfing heritage. Spey Bay Golf Club, designed in 1907 by legendary architect Ben Sayers, sits along the Moray Firth at the mouth of the River Spey and features a distinctive 138-yard 8th hole.
The property includes a clubhouse with café-style lodging, a gym, golf shop, and a large practice green with a challenging ‘Himalayas’ section. Originally acquired by the decentralized autonomous organization LinksDAO in 2023, the course is now being sold as most members reside in the U.S.
The 5,860-yard, par-70 layout has 329 members and charges £85 per round, making it one of Scotland’s 85 remaining links courses—a coveted opportunity for any golf enthusiast with $2 million to spare.
