According to recent reports, San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan and his staff nearly selected running back Cam Skattebo during the 2025 draft before he ultimately joined the New York Giants. The NFC West franchise was reportedly just a few picks away from adding the breakout rookie to their backfield alongside Christian McCaffrey.
