On the ground, running back Kyle Monangai excelled with a 84.6 grade, finishing 6th in the league with 16 rushing yards over expected and second in scrimmage yards with 150 total yards. Wide receiver Rome Odunze was the Bears’ most efficient pass-catching target, ranking 11th in the NFL with 0.95 EPA per play in Week 4 alone.
Defensively, the Bears’ edge-rush duo of Dayo Odeyingbo (77.5 grade) and Austin Booker (77.2 grade) combined for two sacks, while rookie Malik Muhammad (81.7 grade) and safety Dillon Thieneman (77.5 grade) both showed promise in coverage. Despite mixed results from the defensive line, the Bears’ secondary held steady, with linebackers Devin Bush and T.J.
Edwards limiting opposing quarterbacks to passer ratings of 66.7 and 73.1, respectively, in coverage.
