posted five tackles for the Cardinals, Walter Nolen III added four tackles with two for loss and a sack, and DJ Jones contributed three tackles and a quarterback hit against Brock Purdy. Tre Harris paced the Chargers with 60 receiving yards and a pass attempt, and Princely Umanmielen notched three tackles, two quarterback hits, and a sack as the Panthers defeated the Detroit Lions.
Meanwhile, several other players had quieter outings during the slate. Evan Engram, Jonathan Mingo, and Dawson Knox saw limited involvement with their respective targets, and Jordan Watkins did not factor into the game for San Francisco.
The action also highlighted injuries and roster developments, including a shoulder injury sidelining Jaxson Dart and questions surrounding De’Zhaun Stribling following the preseason.
