The Baltimore Ravens have confirmed that starting quarterback Lamar Jackson will sit out Sunday’s game after aggravating his ankle injury, marking his second consecutive absence. Head coach Jesse Minter officially announced the decision during Friday’s press conference, handing the reins to backup Tyler Huntley for the contest.
Beyond Jackson, the Ravens’ depth chart has been further thinned by injuries, with tight end Matthew Hibner (hand), center Cam Jurgens (concussion), and defensive tackle Broderick Washington (ankle) also ruled out. Additional concerns linger for offensive guard Emery Jones Jr.
(ankle), wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane (wrist), and offensive guard Andrew Vorhees (foot), the latter two listed as questionable for the game. Lane, meanwhile, remains in the final stretch of his 21-day return-to-practice window, adding another layer of uncertainty for Baltimore’s offensive plans.
