Rams move on from K Harrison Mevis, sign K Blake Grupe

Los Angeles is shaking up its special teams unit by parting ways with Harrison Mevis and acquiring Blake Grupe from the New York Jets practice squad. Mevis struggled during his tenure, highlighted by a blocked game-winning attempt in overtime against Buffalo and additional misses against Philadelphia and New York.

Grupe joins the roster following a stint with Indianapolis where he was perfect on all field goal and extra point attempts. The Rams hope this change provides the stability needed to improve upon their current two-win, three-loss record.
