The Los Angeles Rams’ offensive tackle Alaric Jackson will miss just one game after his suspension for a post-game altercation was reduced from two games to one. Jackson was penalized for striking Buffalo Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb during a heated exchange following the Rams’ 37-34 overtime loss to the Bills on Monday night.
An appeal led to the shortened suspension, with NFL hearing officer Derrick Brooks overseeing the decision. Jackson will sit out the Rams’ upcoming matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday but is set to return for the Oct.
25 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. In his absence, David Quessenberry is expected to start at left tackle, while the Rams will also begin the 21-day window for rookie Keagen Trost to return from injured reserve.
