Preview: Wizards host Pistons Saturday night

The Washington Wizards will face the Detroit Pistons on Saturday, October 10, at 7 p.m. ET, with the matchup available to viewers on Monumental Sports Network. The contest marks the Wizards' first home appearance after securing a 1-0 preseason record by defeating the New York Knicks the previous day.

Injury concerns persist for Washington, as Jamir Watkins and Tristan Vukcevic are confirmed out, while Khris Middleton and Alex Sarr remain day-to-day, with Sarr reportedly trending toward a return. The game offers a chance for the Wizards to test their Dybantsa, Trae Young, and Anthony Davis lineup against a Pistons squad that has transitioned from a rebuilding phase to become one of the Eastern Conference's top contenders.
