Pranati Nayak finishes sixth in Asian Games vault final

Pranati Nayak secured a sixth-place finish in the women's vault final during the artistic gymnastics competition at the Asian Games in Nagoya on Thursday. 900 on both of her attempts.

20 bonus. 350 score at the previous edition of the Games in Hangzhou, following her successful recovery from a leg injury to secure qualification.

800. Earlier in the year, Pranati missed out on reaching the vault medal round at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and Ashish Kumar's 2010 bronze medal in Guangzhou remains the sole gymnastics podium finish for India in Asian Games history.
