Pidcock ‘mad’ after two teammates collide with police motorcyclist in Italy

Tom Pidcock expressed intense frustration and contemplated withdrawing from the Tre Valli Varesine after a police motorcycle moving in the wrong direction struck two of his squadmates during the competition. The incident involving Marcel Camprubi and Thomas Gloag occurred with six circuits remaining around the finish.

Jarno Widar ultimately secured the victory, while Pidcock placed second. Although Camprubi managed to resume competing, Gloag had to abandon the event and required stitches in his knee.
