Papers: Man Utd weigh up move for Ireland striker Parrott

Manchester United are reportedly exploring a transfer for former Tottenham forward Troy Parrott, with club officials said to have traveled to Spain to observe the Ireland international in action for Real Betis. The move comes amid a challenging start to the season for United, with players and staff citing behind-the-scenes distractions—including filming for a documentary—as a factor in their struggles on the pitch.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace manager Pierre Sage faces mounting pressure following a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Brighton, a result that could see him become the first Premier League boss sacked this season. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest supporters have drawn criticism after the club banned a controversial chant, warning fans of further consequences if the behavior persists.

The season has also seen notable moments off the field, including a viral sighting of former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson at the club’s recent match against Leeds, sitting alongside legendary kitman Albert Morgan.
